About
Major Home Renovation In Downtown Revelstoke
This Second Street home was originally built in 1901 and saw a few improvements in that time, but was in need of a full renovation to modernize it both visually and structurally. The SUMMIT Construction crew teamed up with the owners of the home, who designed the layout, to bring their vision to life.

Maintaining The Historic Aesthetic
While much of the original structure had to be changed, the baseboards and doors were saved to be refreshed and reused. The original windows were replaced with new, more efficient ones from Begbie Glass that improved the efficiency of the home while retaining the historic look and feel of this heritage home.

With the addition of the refinished baseboards and doors, this three-story home is a picture-perfect harmony of rich, historic features and modern design.
